Flo van Dam is een theatermaker die met theater hoopt de wereld net een stukje mooier te kunnen maken. Haar fascinatie ligt bij de interactie tussen (kunst)werk en publiek. Altijd met het doel om een gesprek te starten, omdat we soms lijken te verleren hoe we nog met elkaar moeten of kunnen praten.

Binnen haar werk zorgt ze ervoor dat het publiek zich gezien voelt, en soms voelt dat misschien vooral als betrapt worden. Het mag schuren én er mag gelachen worden.  

Voor het LeerCircus maakte zij speciaal een theatervoorstelling met de bewoners: Orsine, Rosa, Yasmin en Delaila Benieuwd naar het resultaat? Kom dan naar de première van de theatervoorstelling “Lieve Lomba” op 21 juni 2025, in het LeerCircus!!

Her fascination lies in the interaction between the (art)work and the audience always with the aim of sparking conversation, especially because it sometimes feels like we’ve forgotten how to truly talk with one another.

In her work, she ensures that the audience feels seen and sometimes, that might feel more like being caught in the act. It can be uncomfortable, and there’s room for laughter too.
